April Specialty Class, Upcoming performances and Video from Tribal Trove!

Below are the details for the first of three specialty classes I have planned for this year! My idea with these classes is to give you the opportunity to really dig deep into one area of study that wouldn’t normally be possible with a regular weekly class.

P.S. Be sure to scroll all the way through to the end of this post for a video of my performance from Tribal Trove!

Bardot Specialty Class: Graceful Arms and Hands
Wednesday April 27th, 7:15-9:15pm
Ciara Dance Studio
21250 Califa Street, Woodland Hills, CA 91303

*Space limited to 8 students*

$30 before April 24th
$40 at the door, space permitting

Graceful arms and hands add a whole new layer of expression to your dancing that “claw hands” fail to deliver!
The main focus of this two-hour specialty class will be on arm patterns that flow naturally, create captivating silhouettes, and add drama to your performance. To achieve this effect there will be conditioning exercises for the arms, hands, and shoulders to allow for full range of movement. Plus exercises that will cultivate awareness of your hands to keep them relaxed while dancing.
Space is limited, secure your spot for this rare opportunity to focus on your arm and hand movements which will immediately enhance your dancing!

The title of this series pretty much says it all, each week we will be diving deep into the how-to of Tribal Fusion Bellydance! There will be drills to practice the essential shapes/isolations we will be working on, followed by a combo using those movements and then practice with finger cymbal patterns to finish the evening! As always there will also be yoga for conditioning and the epic shimmy drills I seem to be becoming known for! Wooohooo! Let’s get sweaty and technical!

Please bring a yoga mat and finger cymbals!
(both are available to borrow if needed)

*This will be the only class series I offer during the “Summer” months due to a super busy summer traveling schedule. I hope to see you in class!*
